MacSema’s new ButtonReader BR3050 offers improved battery
performance, data capacity and speed. This rugged data collector reads and
updates data stored on Button Memory® and supports applications such as
inspection, maintenance, configuration management, life cycle tracking,
calibration, and fire and safety inspection. ButtonMemory, also known as
contact memory buttons (CMB) are battery-free, read/write, data storage
devices used to identify assets.
The ButtonReader BR3050 is easy to use. Just touch a
ButtonMemory and the data is displayed and updated. The user can scroll
through and enter additional information. Updated information such as who
did what and when is left on the button. All transactions are time stamped
and a copy of each button’s data is stored securely in FLASH memory for
later transfer to a PC. 8 MB offers much greater data collection capacity
and retains the data even when the battery is changed.
