MacSema’s ButtonReader is a rugged hand held data collector
designed to read and update data stored on a ButtonMemory®
any time, anywhere. The ButtonReader supports ButtonMemory applications
requiring inspection and compliance certification, including: life cycle
tracking of assets, electronic maintenance logbook functions, configuration
management, equipment calibration and fire and safety inspection.
Designed for ease of use – just touch a ButtonMemory and
all data on the button is loaded into the reader. A 2K byte button is read in
one second. Using the keypad and display: data can be scrolled and viewed, the
user can be prompted, data can be entered or edited, and any changes can be
written back to the button. All transactions are time stamped. A copy of the
data is always maintained in the ButtonReader for transfer to your PC.
The ButtonReader is small in size, only 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.9
inches, and fits comfortably into your hand or shirt pocket. Housed in a
machined aluminum case the ButtonReader survives multiple 4-foot drops and is
resistant to harsh environments.
The ButtonReader is available in a variety of configurations
to meet user requirements. Programming is easy with MacSema’s Hierarchy™
Application
or developers can utilize the Developer’s Kit to build customized
applications.
